We purchased a 5-piece bedroom set for $2,500 from FurnitureSavings.com. To summarize our experience: Issue #1: The furniture arrived in 4 weeks. The delivery company was very kind; however, the chest was damaged and had to be returned. They were not able to provide remedial action or a timeline. FurnitureSavings never called to follow-up on our order until we reached out. Issue #2: The mattress supports comprised of 5 flimsy wooden beams, which broke in half the first time we sat on the bed (I weigh approx 160lbs and my girlfriend 110lbs). We called FurnitureSavings and were told that they "usually send metal beams instead of wood". We were then sent two "universal" metal beams. Upon attempting to install the beams, I was met with terribly unclear and nearly comical instructions. I gave FurnitureSavings a call once again, being told that "it's actually quite simple to install". Given that we paid for delivery and assembly, we agreed it was not my job to spend my Saturday installing the supports, so they contracted someone to do so. Yesterday a man arrived to install the metal supports. He attempted to install the metal beams, but to both of our frustration, the height of the beams did not fit the bed, nor did the parts provided even make it possible to install the supports properly. Take a look at the picture below to see the end-result. Overall, he was able to install ONE metal beam by snapping a piece of the already-broken wood in half and drilling through it (aka he had to pull a MacGyver and use scrap parts - just look at the attached picture). I called FurnitureSavings once again and was told that "they should fit…” Overall: 1) We have given FurnitureSavings multiple attempts to resolve this issue, to no avail. As of now, we have no faith in the company performing their end of the agreement (providing functional furniture with delivery and proper assembly) and have decided to call it a complete loss and return all of the furniture, regardless of the additional inconvenience of having to do so. We have not yet received a refund. 2) Low quality furniture not worth the pricetag of $2,500. 3) Low quality service and communication between FurnitureSavings and delivery service 4) Countless hours wasted during weekdays and weekends attempting to resolve the issues and make ourselves available for remedial action 5) I have been sleeping in a ditch (due to broken wooden supports) for the past 2 weeks 6) We have been partially living out of boxes due to the fact that we don't have the chest we ordered 7) We have a large boxspring mattress that has been sitting around our living room until we have a bed frame that can actually support more than the weight of a large dog. DO NOT ORDER FURNITURE FROM THIS COMPANY!!!
